Warranty Claim System
At ituneBD, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our warranty system is designed to provide you with peace of mind and professional after-sales support.
1. Types of Warranty Offered
-
Official Brand Warranty: For products with an “Official Warranty,” the brand/manufacturer handles the service. You can visit any authorized brand service center in Bangladesh with your ituneBD invoice and warranty card.
-
Service Warranty: This covers the labor cost for repairs. If a part needs replacement, the cost of the spare part will be borne by the customer.
-
Replacement Warranty: In certain cases, if a product is found defective within a specific period (e.g., 7 days), we provide a brand-new replacement of the same model.
2. Warranty Claim Requirements
To process your claim smoothly, please ensure you have the following:
-
Original Invoice/Memo: The proof of purchase from ituneBD.
-
Product Box: The original packaging with the serial number/IMEI intact.
-
Warranty Sticker: Do not remove any ituneBD or manufacturer stickers from the product or box.
-
Unboxing Video: For claims regarding physical damage or missing internal components, a full unboxing video is mandatory.
3. How to Claim Your Warranty
-
Contact Support: Message our WhatsApp or call the Helpline to describe the issue. Often, our technical team can solve minor problems over the phone.
-
Product Submission: * Inside Dhaka: You can visit our designated service point/office to drop off the product.
-
Outside Dhaka: Send the product via a trusted courier (e.g., Sundarban Courier). Please ensure the item is securely padded to prevent transit damage.
-
-
Inspection: Our technical team will inspect the product to verify the fault. This typically takes 3–7 working days.
-
Resolution: * If it’s a minor fix, we will repair it and notify you for pickup.
-
If it requires brand intervention, it may take 15–45 days depending on the brand’s policy and parts availability.
-
4. What Voids the Warranty?
The warranty will be considered null and void in the following cases:
-
Physical Damage: Cracks, dents, or broken ports caused by drops or pressure.
-
Liquid Damage: Any sign of water or moisture entering the device.
-
Unauthorized Repair: If the product has been opened or repaired by an unauthorized technician.
-
Electrical Surge: Damage caused by using an unstable power source or a non-original charger.
-
Software Rooting: Unauthorized software modifications or “rooting” on smart devices.
5. Service Charges
-
Within Warranty: If the issue is covered under the warranty policy, the service is free.
-
Out of Warranty: If the warranty has expired or is voided, we can still attempt a repair for a service fee plus the cost of any required parts.
